I'd like to thank the flexible led strips San Diego Business Journal for a lovely celebration of diversity that women bring to the business place.
The only dark spot of an otherwise wonderful evening came when a few protested the (fabulous) keynote speaker, Gloria Duffy. I applaud the Journal's decision to choose a speaker of intelligence and substance, giving us insight into a subject that affects the lives of every American citizen--indeed, every citizen of the world.
Women's expansion into arenas formerly male dominated of universal import is another reason to rolex replica celebrate. Dr. Duffy handled her detractors with grace and aplomb, refusing to pander to the hats and handbags mentality of fit "women's" topics.
What is happening in the world is important to everyone. I thank the Business Journal for respecting its guest and refusing to dummy it down.
