The company, launched six months ago, is owned by Halifax Bank of Scotland.
Custom CufflinksChairman Peter Wood, who also launched Direct Line, is signing up 3,000 customers a week. "I knew this market was ripe for a shake- up, but I did not realise quite how ripe," he says.
"Women have appreciated both our keen prices and product features such as built in handbag cover."
